Cold Steel Trail Boss

The Trail Boss is light and compact enough to use all day in your hand, yet robust enough for chores that would challenge a hatchet or tomahawk. Featuring a European-style head with a 4" blade and a 4 1/2" cutting edge, it is fitted with a very stout straight-grained Hickory handle. Extensively field-tested by Lynn C. Thompson on a month-long expedition in the Australian outback, the Trail Boss was used to chop kindling, clear roads and trails, construct shelter and even fell a sizeable native tree, demonstrating performance against very hard local timbers.
